This is Barbera with depth, polish and a bit of drama - vibrant fruit, bright acidity and a more serious, layered feel. It's got enough richness for a slow dinner, but still plenty of energy in the glass. Spot-on with braised beef, mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheeses. Music pairing: A bit of grunge or alt-rock, think early 90s Soundgarden or Alice in Chains.
